WESTON, Fla, --The Lakeland Tropics moved into a first place tie in the USL Premier Development League's Southeast division with a 3-0 road win over Weston FC Wednesday night.
Lakeland got first half goals from Juan Tejeda and Lucas Coutinho to improve to 3-0-1 on the season, good for 10 points, tied with the Soccer Institute of Montverde Academy Aguilas who has an identical record. It was Tejada's second goal in as many games.

Gustavo Vasconcelos, from Florida Gulf Coast University, recorded his second clean sheet of the spring for the Tropics, who will look to continue their early season success Saturday at Bryant Stadium when they host IMG Academy Bradenton in a 7 p.m. kickoff.
