Diegues named to All PDL team for three goals in two games last week

LAKELAND – Lakeland Tropics forward Ricardo Diegues has been honored by the Premier Development League by being named to its all league team for Week 4.

Diegues scored both goals in a May 24 2-1 win at Weston FC, and added his fourth goal of the season – in four games – in last Saturday's 2-0 whitewash of the Palm Beach Suns.

Diegues is no stranger to such awards. Three times during the recently completed Major Arena Soccer League season, the Brazilian native was named to the league's all-league weekly team. He was tied for the MASL Tropics team lead in goals with 17.
